The remote primary school provides education facilities for mining villages and aboriginal communities in an area of 184,000km² on the edge of the desert at the gateway to the Canning Stock Route and Gunbarrel Highway. Classes range from Kindergarten to Year 12 students.

For this kind of facility, the most cost-effective option was to provide a modular structure that could be pre-manufactured off-site and easily constructed on-site. The school was designed in light gauge framed steel studs and the classrooms were transported and assembled on-site.
