The Great Eastern Highway is the major road connection between Western Australia and the eastern states of Australia. It commences at Perth and terminates at Kalgoorlie/Boulder.

The object of this project was to upgrade the 56km-long section of highway between Hines Hill and Walgoolan, and the section through the Kellerberrin townsite. Delivered by the ALine East Alliance, as the lead design NOP, our responsibilities included design management, civil engineering and bridge refurbishment design. A total of 62km of upgraded highway was delivered by the Alliance from initial concept to completion in 3 years.

The Aline East Alliance was formed by the Western Australian Government and included representatives from Main Roads Western Australia, Brierty Contractors, BG&E Pty Limited and WML Consultants.
