This 403m-long, post-tensioned concrete bridge, which was completed in 1995, was designed to complement the proposed Windan Bridge as both structures were similar in span configuration and overall length. The siting of the bridges and the pier arrangement for the two separate structures in effect created an integrated crossing for both road and rail across the Swan River.
