Under a design and construct contract, BG&E provided Georgiou Group with the structural engineering design and documentation of piles and pile caps for new conveyor trestles, as part of the upgrade and expansion of the mine. The analysis of the pile groups involved compliance with strict deflection and rotational limits imposed by the conveyor operations.
